Last night we went for a few drinks in a hotel bar after work with some friends and as we walked outside we noticed a couple of black cars parked outside and lots of men with earpieces in. We were stood just outside the entrance trying to decide where to go for some food and Hillary Clinton walked out of the hotel! She stood outside for a while and we all just stood literally about 5 metres away gawping at her. We were so shocked! Then she jumped in her car with some big guys with semi automatic guns and drove off.
That was our best famous person spot so far while in DC. Chris sees Joe Biden's motorcade drive past the Embassy a couple of times a week and I saw Obama's motorcade while I was in New York last week but this was the first VIP we'd seen up close. We were very excited!
