We had one day left in DC before my mum and her friend flew back to the UK. Chris had to go into work but I had the day off to spend with them. Top of the list of things to do was a trip to Tiffanys. Luckily we have a store about 5 minutes walk from our apartment. Both my mum and her friend went in with the planning of buying gifts for other people but ended up treating themselves to a couple of presents as well!
After spending a small fortune in Tiffanys we headed downtown to the White House. We posed for some photos outside and even saw the President's dog Bo having a walk in the garden!
It was a really warm day so we decided to celebrate the end of our holiday in style by having a cocktail in the sun outside the W hotel!
