About 10 minutes drive from our hotel was a waterfall - Opaeka'a Falls, that we hadn't been too yet so before breakfast we went to have a look.
We had seen a bakery near our hotel that we wanted to check out so we went there for breakfast. Chris had a breakfast burrito that he loved and I had an amazing cherry roll.
After breakfast we headed for the south part of the island that we hadn't explored yet near Po'ipu. We drove to Spouting Horn where a blowhole on the coast spurts water up into the air. We spotted a turtle swimming in the sea so we watched for ages hoping he might appear again.
We decided to walk part of the Maha'ulepu Heritage trail which runs along the coast so we drove to Shipwreck Beach where the trail starts. It's a lovely walk along the coast, it can be quite difficult to follow at times as it's not signposted very well but we probably walked for about an hour and a half before turning back.
After our walk we went for some shaved ice before spending the rest of the afternoon at Po'ipu Beach Park. In both Oahu and Kauai it would randomly start raining really lightly nearly every day but only last a couple of minutes then stop. I guess that's why there are so many rainbows, we saw at least one every day that we were in Oahu and Kauai.
